Habitat Loss – While fulfilling our needs we are destroying large areas of forest which have very adverse effects, these are discussed here:
- Habitat demolition is the foremost cause of death of many species and is the reason that many animals are in danger of extinction. Animals are very intelligent, but without their natural homes, they cannot protect themselves and their young ones.
- When we make land clear for our homes, bulldozers go through forests to clear trees and smooth the ground. This process happens so suddenly that animals find no time to adopt such drastic changes and eventually many of them die!
